Rage has an exciting opportunity for a Visual Merchandise Auditor to join our dynamic Rage team.

Visual Merchandise Auditor Job Description:

• The VMA’s role is to ensure that all Rage stores operate smoothly and maintain profitability for the
• business. The VMA's aim is to assess how effective our stores and staff’s controls are in relation to
• stock management, visual layouts, operating of the business, cash control and day to day operations.

Key responsibilities:

Auditing:

• Complete daily Audit Reports for store visit and submit report to head office.
• Conduct stocktakes/ full counts throughout the year ensuring accurate results.
• Prepare a full audit on all banking and paperwork in store, re:
• Check Till floats, Petty cash, Banking, Manual sales, Discounts, Gift cards & Account cards,
• etc and report back to head office.
• Audits of all cash transactions, ensuring shortages and discrepancies are reported and
• communicated to H/O.
• Understand the all company policies and procedures and ensuring consistent compliance in all stores.
• Report poor store management and implement an action plan for team members to
• improve.

Visual Merchandising:

• Ensure all promotional and seasonal signage are implemented.
• Ensure all team members have the correct product knowledge accordingly.
• Confirm displays are regularly changed or updated, according to seasons and events.
• Prepare for promotional events, change prices and ensure all stores have implemented the necessary processes.
• Maintain impeccable housekeeping of the store maintenance standards of all areas.
• Ensure latest and best selling shoes and apparel are displayed in windows and all visual rules are adhered to.
• Pricing should be visible and well displayed.
• Check that all markdowns / mark ups are implemented.
• Replenishment is done daily.

Operations:

• Reporting on any operational requirements that are incorrect/faulty.
• Effectively manage store openings and store closings.
• Ensure you keep track of all spare keys in your area.
• Oversee and guide staff to ensure excellent customer service in stores.
• Check all light fixtures, fittings and equipment are functioning and faulty fixtures are
• reported to head office.
• Follow up on the growth and development of staff through daily staff evaluations.

Driving Turnover:

• To lead and maintain the development of employees to achieve sales goals.
• Follow up on the growth, retention and maintenance of new customer accounts at stores.

• Prepare and maintain accurate records.
• Must be self-motivated and self-reliant

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to R15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
