The Field Inventory Manager for Europe will be responsible for our overall process of counting our €250M+ consignment across 12,000 locations in Europe. This role will manage a third-party contract where we have outsourced our activities for counting. The role will lead a central team that will oversee the European process, and drive process improvements and standardization within this area across Europe. The role will also take a strategic responsibility for the digital platforms, to manage field inventory.

Is this you?

You have Experience You have at least 8 years of professional work experience in inventory and/or supply chain management, and you have at least 2 years people management experience. Ideally you will have at least 2-3 years medical device experience.

You have a Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration or Supply Chain Management preferred.

You Know what you are Doing You will have in depth experience with multiple operating systems, to include Enterprise Resource Program tools. You posses the ability to deliver the continued digitalisation of our field inventory tools.

You speak Fluent English A key part of this role will be to work with international stakeholders across the world. Knowing one or more additional languages is a plus.

You love a Challenge A self-starter who enjoys problem solving and creating innovative solutions. You can organise and direct diverse activities in a changing environment, often under time pressure.

What will you do at Stryker?

  • Manage the central team for Remote Cycle Counting (RCC) Europe, this will include 6-7 team members that will drive the strategic development for our digital platforms.
  • Dotted line reporting lines from our local RCC teams across EU (5-6 FTEs).
  • Responsible for making sure we reach our targets set by finance in terms of % coverage of counted inventory values.
  • Working closely with the local asset managers and counting teams across EU to achieve the targets set.
  • Manage the third-party contract (Yearly Spend + €1 M), being the main contact person and making sure the contracts is followed and follow up on KPIs set in contract. Being accountable to make sure the contract is up to date and in due time make new market assessments and making sure we have a collaborative and up to date contract.
  • Work together with business leaders to make sure they are up to date with the progress and drive escalations within the business if required.
  • Being responsible for making sure our processes in Europe are aligned and drive process improvements in this area to manage our RCC processes in a more efficient and professional way.
  • Drive initiatives to create standardized and new KPIs for RCC Europe.
  • Ensures all ISO, Compliance, SOX, FCPA and regulatory requirements and policies are implemented and applied.
