As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the warehouse section, ensuring the smooth flow of goods, maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will lead a team of warehouse personnel, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure the team's productivity and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of warehouse personnel, including recruitment, training, performance management, and scheduling.
- Ensure the efficient and accurate receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the inventory control team to ensure accurate stock counts, timely replenishment, and minimize stock discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety among the team.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Qualifications :
- With at least 5 years’ experience as a warehouse supervisor, section head, or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment
- Proficient in using SAP
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
