We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Manager, Digital Solutions to join our highly regarded organization.
The Senior Manager / Digital Solutions is a sales leader for Metso’s unique digital value propositions, that support customers to improve operations and resource efficiency with optimization solutions and services. This newly created position will be an integral part of Metso´s sustainability mission and introduce our Planet Positive offering to the market.
Main Responsibilities
- Act as a champion for Metso Digital Solutions in Market Area Europe, becoming the key link between customers and stakeholders within the Metso organization.
- Lead sales cases through the sales process – achieving joint commercial success and life cycle services through value creation workshops.
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities.
- Present digital solutions value to customers and support Metso global team in the implementation of customer solutions.
- Understand and effectively communicate the Digital Solutions implementation requirements and procedures to internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively host and coordinate the local community and customer value culture (success and reference cases).
- Promote digital solutions and customer value with marketing through webinars, conferences, customer seminars and internal training.
- Digital Orders Received and revenue growth, MA Sales Funnel growth.
- Geminex's (Digital Twin) go-to-market plans.
- Integrative solution selling experience.
- Good resilience, flexibility and creative thinking skills to support the business by applying an existing portfolio to create customer value.
- Minimum 10 years relevant operational experience in the process or manufacturing industries as well as exposure to digital and automation products and services.
- An understanding of: information technologies, process control, optimisation and sources of customer value in the process industry, and a specialty for advanced data analytics (AI, ML, simulation).
- Natural tendency and hunger for results through solution, value and consultative sales (vs. transactional sales).
- Demonstrated capability of managing sales cases and projects from concept to completion, meeting strict time constraints, and managing expectations of internal and external customers.
- Good communication skills and fluent in verbal and written English – required for presentations, success stories and articles, webinars, and social media.
- Skills to mentor and coordinate other teams in performing support and consulting services.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Emotional intelligence.
- Ability and confidence to meet the digital and growth KPIs required.
