Executive Assistant, Marketing & Publicity (Hulu) [United States]


 

Hulu’s Marketing team is seeking an Executive Assistant to our EVP, Hulu Marketing & Publicity. As an Assistant, you will be responsible for administrative and other supportive tasks. The ideal candidate for this role is proactive, organized, efficient, and capable of achieving amazing results in a very fast-paced and constantly changing environment. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handle complex scheduling responsibilities, with exceptional attention to the details of calendar management in a fast-paced environment
  • Make travel arrangements and prepare itineraries

    Prepare and manage expense reports
  • Coordinate meetings with 50+ attendees: prepare agendas, secure and plan space, facilitate content development, follow up as appropriate
  • Attend meetings, take notes and track action items
  • Serve as a liaison between various departments at Hulu and Disney
  • Discreetly handle confidential and sensitive information

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ administrative experience in entertainment
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail while handling multiple simultaneous projects under deadline
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – collaboration skills are essential
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude, nothing is too large or too small; the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Capacity to engage professionally with associates and managers at every level
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Google Docs/Spreadsheets, Gmail
  • Positive, collaborative energy and a calming presence
  • Pro-active and self-motivated with the ability to stay ahead while tracking workflow
  • Problem solver, with a relentless pursuit of improving workflow efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Willingness to work flexible work hours and overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ administrative experience; prior work at a network, studio, prodco or agency is desired
  • Historical knowledge of, and passion for, media, film and television
  • Experience with entertainment industry professionals both in front of and behind the camera
  • Knowledge of current and past trends in SVOD, cable, and broadcast television

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $63,386.00 to $85,030.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
