Job Description
Our client is looking for teams of enthusiastic people to take on the role of blueberry pickers for their commercial farm located in Mundubbera, QLD.
Commencing in September and running for a 3-month (approx.) contract (dependent on weather), the role sees you picking and packing blueberries ready for market. This role will have you working outside in the sun, daily.
You will be required to do the following duties (but not limited to):
- Picking blueberries to meet targets.
- Bending and kneeling for picking.
- Farm harvesting.
- General labouring duties.
- Other duties as requested by site supervisor.
This role will require you to meet your daily targets. If your daily records are over the team average, you will receive a "Picking Bonus" at the discretion of the farm manager.
Your Skills & Experience
You must be physically capable, without previous injuries or allergies and be committed to the full season. We are looking for people who are strong team players and are focused on maintaining a culture of safety for yourself and others. To be considered for the role, please ensure you can prove the following:
- Hardworking and physical fit.
- Blueberry or raspberry picking experience (not essential)
- Have a positive attitude.
- High level of WHS.
- Will need to have a car.
